2. Write a problem statement for your work or research project (6 – 8 sentences). View the accompanying two Power Point presentations on details of how to write this assignment.

3. Write four questions beginning with “What” when discussing the problem to be solved or addressed in your work or research, and then answer them. The question does not have to come directly from the listening exercise.
Example: What factor has contributed to the fall in Taiwan’s global competitiveness ranking in the IMD World Competitiveness Scoreboard?
Answer: The IMD Competitiveness Simulations neglect interactions among related factors.
Example: What aspect of this field of research are you most concerned with?
